Fpv and controler distance

Hi. I ordered drone 8807. It can go 100 meters with controler and it have 40 meters fpv distance. Does it mean I can not see drone camera on my mobile phone when it is 40 meters and more away from me?

That simply means, the transmitter in your hands can send the signal 100m, but the transmitter on the Drone itself can only transmit the image 40 meters.

So in a sense, that is kind of like driving a car on a foggy day so that your braking distance exceeds your visibility.
