Found a great way to fund my Quad!

DuaneM

Drone? I don't see any drone ... crap!
And my wife doesn't mind. I'm selling all kinds of crap around this house including good 'ole Pennsylvania Anthracite Coal! Mostly stuff up in the attic we both forgot about. Yes, I had a bunch of coal in my attic.

Ebay is helping me buy all the stuff I need to do my first quadcopter build! I have everything, but the batteries. I'm just waiting on a couple more sale and I'll get those next! I'm so happy!

Then I get to come on here and ask all kinds of stupid question why things aren't working! I know your just sitting there waiting for another newbie to start rolling your eyes at!

Well gotta go back to shopping!

Oh how I love ebay! Funding men's hobbies behind their wives backs for decades! LOL!

Here's the list of stuff I bought so far, what else do you think I'll need?

Hi mate the naze32 will not work on any DJI frame the guy that made the naze board hates DJI so he has written firmware so it will not work with the flame wheel frame ,true or not never tried it I cant see how it will Know
The battery is to small at 2200 mah its going to be running the FPV and quad the flight times will be very short look at 4500 mah

Oh crap, I already bought two of those batteries, I'll have to wait until I sell more junk on ebay to get the bigger batteries. I am going to be running them in parallel.

I can't believe anyone could write code that would tell a circuit board what it's mounted on without a crapload of sensors. Mainly the difference between plastics or carbon fiber, steel, aluminum, or wood. I think someone was fibbin' when they told you that.

There are f450 DJI frames with the naze32 on them and fly ok so I don't think there is a code just wanted you to be aware if you do an Internet search your find all the info and a video of one flying 100% ok

It turns out I had ordered the two 4000mAh batteries with Traxxs plugs. I have since changed them to XT60.

The Naze32 Full Rev6 worked like a charm on my 450mm clone frame. I took it back off because it was too much of a hassle to get GPS and an autopilot to work with it. Went for the NAZA-M Lite.

Oh and never did get the FS-i6a from China, I got ripped off, so I bought a FS-i6 (older version) and updated it to 10 channels.

I'm running two of those Hubsan 7000mAh batteries too! Got on eBay for $22.99 each and free shipping!

The rest of the time I run 4-5 cheap clones action cams (only one on a brushless gimbal) with two of the 400mAh batteries and I can get 30-45 minutes flight times. When it's windy (10-15mph) it does get a little unstable but the NAZA-M V2 keeps it in the air.

Oh by the way, I turned my f450 into a f550.

Hey Duane...........I got two of these before I got done building this thing. Before the first flight I was worried about the weight........but after launching it and doing some "power" testing...........there is definitely no problem with the weight. I'm currently waiting on a 2-axis brushless gimbal. Powered from that battery. After that I'm gonna start on an FPV system using a 2000mW transmitter.....mainly because LOS sucks after about 100yds or so...........

Make darned sure you get some anti-glare stuff for the monitor screen! I made a decent ground station and I can't see anything in the daylight.
Of course if your going with goggles that point was mute.

I used a TS5828 600w transmitter and the RC832 receiver hooked to a car rearview camera monitor on an old tripod I had laying around.

Weight wasn't an issue on my f450 when I used two batteries, one between the plates and one underneath between two camera gimbals (one brushless one rubber mount). I even had homemade landing gear! My flight times were 12 minutes with one battery and I forgot to measure it with two. D'OH!
