form 500 drone

is there any way to dis arm the return to home when the battery gets low,i hsve had two times that it just takes off with out a alarm or I cant hear it and goes straight up and crashes.i am trying to fly this thing in my back yard and cant have taking off by its lonesome.tks.

It's easily changed in the PC interface. Have you downloaded the drivers and software?
 
I'm new to drones but an active RC flier. I just bought a HeliMax Form 500. I was flying the F5 on it's 2nd flight of the day, 4th flight overall when it just shut down and fell from the sky into the water I had just flown over. Both batteries were fully charged so not sure why the shutdown. I was able to retrieve the F5 and it is now on it's way back to Hobby Services for a post mortum. I sent HS the video from my GoPro which continued to record until I pulled it from the water. I was flying with the Hubsan 7000mah battery supplied with the F5 as part of a deal by Tower when it went down.
Anyone else have a similar event?
