FOR SALE: CC3D OpenPilot Flight Controllers. BRAND NEW! 15pcs

Hi irishluck,

Are you giving any kind of warranty/money back guarantee on these?

From your photos it is obvious that they are non standard poor quality clones (ie; not correct/original design, placement of & components used), as can be seen if you compare your CC3D's to the genuine OpenPilot CC3D in the image attached:

The CC3D in you photos are the same that are widely available from many Chinese e-stores, like Aliexpress, for less that $10 including shipping.

Though they may work fine they will suffer from issues, including difficulty with connection to computer/software, updating firmware, cut outs in use, etc.

Well I dont know what to tell you except if you dont like it then dont buy it. These were bought from a US supplier.

Look dude, you need to get off my thread cause I don't think you know what your talking about. You have an issue with it then you can contact my US supplier who sells these to many quadcopter stores in the US.

Wowo_O, that sure is one way to treat a potential costumer & behave in your own for sale thread.

And you might want to check out who I am before telling me that I don't know what I'm talking about;)

Congrats. Guess I'm just to slow and dumb to notice that in your profile picture.

irishluck, there is no need for you to be so unpleasant, I am only trying to help you and your fellow hobbyists/members here in this friendly looking forum. What I have said about the CC3D's you have listed for sale is true, they are cheap non standard Chinese clones, which you can see for yourself if you compare to the photo of a genuine CC3D I posted above. I personally would not sell them to anyone & if I was you would not feel comfortable selling them to my fellow hobbyists, or anyone that you wish to have as a return or future customer.

Luckily, by the sound of it you got your CC3D's from a US importer/supplier, so you should be able to return them, citing the info that I have given, and get a full refund.

Also, don't be so hard on yourself, I'm sure that you are far from "slow and dumb" and my profile picture doesn't help much anyhow, this is an OpenPilot logo, + one with a genuine CC3D:

You could also use the photo I posted of the genuine CC3D to help you find a source of CC3D's with correct components, placement & design, directly from China, shipping to you will take a bit longer but you will be able to make a higher profit for yourself as well as supply your fellow hobbyists with a better product.

I guess I'm getting old. Sure looks close enough to me.

Hi Jackson, yes it can be hard to see the differences if you don't know what you're looking for I guess. In the images you posted the most noticeable difference is that the clone is missing ESD protection (Circled):

The more noticeable differences & concerning changes from original schematic can be seen when comparing the bottom of each board, the white clone has clearly been routed differently & changed from the original schematic, as well as poor components used on that side of the board, such as the crystal.
