I had a Fly Egg for a few days and everything was great.
When I went back to fly it, the receiver was unbound and it would not rebind. I bought an Orange R617XL thinking the original was broken.
I can bind this but the drone is unresponsive. In betaflight, the transmitter inputs are not recognised but it would appear that the board is responding to other changes.
Does anyone know what the problem is?

Was it wet the last time you flew.
Can you access the menus in Betaflight.
If not the board is probably dead.
If you can reset the board & do a gyro reset on the setup tab, then it's a start.
Next would be rx connections.
What rx/Tx do you have.
Do you know what board is in it?
I would hazard a guess at a 20x20mm Betaflight 3.2 + osd. But if you could post a pic would be helpful.

Hi
I was flying indoors.
I am now using a R617XL receiver - but still connected through 3.3v.
Betaflight still appears to work - transmitter is the only thing to fail at the moment.
The board is marked PIKO-BLX-EVO-70325 (I can't upload a picture at the moment); it is configured for firmware 3.1.6.

Spectrum rx won't work with flysky equipment. You need a DX6 or 8 Tx to work that receiver.
All flysky rx's work on 5v.
Try the micro dms again.
 
If all seems to work, eg tx/rx are binded.
The board works. Then check the wires are in the right pin holes & Reflow the solder joints or file the pins clean.
Failing that try a board & gyro reset in the setup tab in betaflight. You would be surprised what that can fix.
My quad was flipping on throttle & I did everything & was told the usual, check props, motor order, motor direction, Rx even a gyro reset. Reflow solder joints.
Two whole weeks on a 2 week holiday off work with perfect weather. On my last day off @10pm RENOV8R posted
"try a board reset" It worked.
It may just be a gremlin. Have you changed any settings in betaflight.
I keep a backup of pid & board settings of working kwads. It only takes a second.
If I fix a kwad for someone or build one I save there settings.
I fly on stock pids unless there is any oscillations. I only change rate, super rate & expo & bring the throttle midpoint down a bit. Degrees per second are 1093. Now I'm babbling lol.
Got a feeling you may just have the wiring mixed up, is the bind plug still on.
Its got to be somthing I mentioned.
