Hello all,
I am in the process of building my 2nd quad, and I was wondering if anyone had a good source for small plastic enclosures for the flight controller. I have searched online sites but can't seem to find one quite the right size. I'm thinkinng 1 3/4 to 2" square by 3/4 " tall. Looking into getting a 3D printer, but in the meantime trying to find some for my upcoming projects.
TIA!

RAdio Shack used to carry them I have a few in my junk box.

Try this on AMAZON.

At first I read this as 2D quad and was trying to figure out what the hell that meant :D

I'm personally working from home today because ordered a A10 from Amazon for a friend (had a lightning deal on it for $180). I might have to do minor troubleshooting/repairs on it since they are known to have some QC issues, but have built a couple kit ones already so not a big problem. If you find something on thingiverse you can probably find someone local to print it (or look for libraries or maker spaces in the area), for a case this small it will probably only take about an hour or so. One thing to watch out for though is lots of these boards have a CPU or other chips that put off a fair amount of heat that won't dissipate as well through plastic, and the plastic may melt (depending on type of plastic used, ambient temp etc. etc.). If you are looking for water proofing purposes maybe conformal coating or corrosion-x is a better option.
