Flamethrower Drone ... Fire in the Sky

Really? I can see some great uses for it, like starting forest fires, burning down your neighbor's house, etc. Who, other that a fire department or pyromaniac would want one?
 
Fire departments, farmers, forresters, park service people and, of course, evil barefooted drone pilots

What about that kid that had a 9mm automatic added to his quadcopter. Wasn't that a treat? So many thing you can do with a quadcopter other than having fun!

Well, the news segment on TNL last week showed some idiots who tied a roman candle to their drone and caused themselves much havoc.
 
The photo does not justify the dispersal of "bait" 500 yards out. Using a Spinning rod with mono-filament line, that would be some cast. You'd need your quad o drop the line as well.
 
This is a literal example of the expression "fight fire with fire" ... lol ... the most obvious use being in Forestry, where they set smaller fires to control larger ones ... it's called backburning.

Reminds me of a time I caught one about that size with a couple of friends using a small johnboat.
After deciding on a swim, we put our legs through the arm holes of our vests and were bobbing around in the water drinking some beers
(sounds silly but you hafta try it, you can float chest high out of the water) meanwhile I had the catfish on a stringer tied to my belt loop.
That thing towed me all over that lake ! ... lol ... I spent the afternoon that way, as a human "bobber" hooked to this fish, with a beer in one
hand and a smoke in the other .... what a fond memory ... Thanks for jogging it for me
