Hi I am buying a used quadcopter I am told its not a toy and was built for aerial photograph here is a copy of the advert :
Quadcopter 460 frame naza light flight controller orange tx good quality motors and esc landing gear spectrum dx7 controller 3 lipo battery's 2 balance chargers one new in box also has full fpv gear ie camera on quadcopter with servo gimbal and lcd screen attached to dx7 this is a great quadcopter and is not a toy it is good for fpv flying and ariel photography very powerful and great fun this is not a cheap toy and was professionally built to a great standard and cost double what I'm asking.

Can anyone tell me if this sounds any good please ?

450 is a more common frame size than 460. Find out (if you can) if the frame is aluminum tubing, fiberglass or what. NAZA lite is fine. More likely it's an Orange RX (receiver) and the radio is a Spectrum DX7 (not usually referred to as a controller). It's odd they cannot give you a motor brand since they are always printed on the motor. No word on what the camera is? That makes a difference, if it's a GoPro or some cheap "sports cam" knock off. I'm sure it does 1080, but if the seller is basing price on original price, it matters. No mah listed on the batteries -- probably something around 3000 on a 460, likely 3S.
I'd agree with the "not a toy" part. It sounds like somebody got setup to do aerial photography and either realized he couldn't fly a quad, or got in a bind. 3 batteries says he prepared for at least 3 flights to get footage. From the description it sounds like a sound craft, but no telling what condition any of it is in. There may be blown ESCs, the controller could be fried, he could have over-drawn one or more lipos...

What is he asking for the whole rig? The decision for you is basically: Does it benefit me to risk these used parts over buying what I want new? Don't be intimidated by assembling one. If you're coordinated enough to fly one, you can assemble one. You may need a few tools, but you'd need those anyway to do repairs and modification anyway. Even if you get it, you'll want to get a few new sets of props, probably plastic if you don't fly yet. Save the carbon fiber for real video shooting. Sacrifice the $1 props!
