First Quad

Hi, I have enjoyed building a quad after watching several tutorials and I am glad to say that so far it has gone well.

I made a mistake with my ESC's as they do not power my FC or RX. I can power them with a standard 4.6v reciver battery and carry on configuring my FC but I wonder, can I user a voltage regulator on my 11.1v 3c lipo and supply the reciver with 5v that way?

What kind of "mistake" did you make with the ESCs?

They don't supply voltage to my receiver or flight controller and id rather not add an extra battery pack if I can avoid it.
The ESC's that supply 5v to the FC and RX must use a regulator, I am just worried about the amps?
