first flight video!

Could be worse, you could be in Canada like me. You don't get very long flighttimes whe it's -15C. Although 2 feet of snow makes for nice fluffy landings.

today should be <10mph wind all day!! says 0mph right now!! as quadcopter 101 would say, lets go for a flight!!

620am now and sun isnt even up, but im driving to the park right after this post....god i hate being bipolar :( cus i know im gonna fall hard later in the week :(

omg just came back from an almost perfect flight :D didnt crash once, only when i went to land i came down a bit too hard and it crashed...

was doing all kinds of sweet maneuvers and navigating under and in between the soccer goal posts :D

almost lost it though, i ended up losing orientation and i couldnt tell if it was going forward or backwards and ended up going over the lake :O got super scared :(

but managed to do a pretty sweet bank turn and bring it back :D

tbh this x5c is tons of fun. no prop guards + high rate = im not wanting any other quad any time soon. im gonna remove the camera later too cus i hear it becomes like a jet without that extra weight and gets more flight time too :D

cant wait to get more batteries though, today im basically gonna charge battery, drive 5 miles to fly 6 mins, drive back home, charge for 1 hour, drive 5 miles again, etc... :(

charging now, gonna feed my bird now, next flight i will record for u guys :D

seriously though

this is complete BS

i swear that red light is taunting me.

if you're planning on getting an x5c-1, MAKE SURE YOU GET THIS or it will drive you insane.

just came back from another flight, gonna upload the video later, but tbh the range on this thing is ridiculous!! if i even go a little far it completely cuts out, well under 50 meters. i saw a video on youtube that says u can get some long copper wire and solder it to the antenna wire and that helps, should i do that?

instead of soldering can i just strip some of the antenna wire then twist it with some copper wire "splice" ?
