First ever build (300mm) general purpose.

Hi all!
I'm putting together a budget to build my first ACTUAL quad, i've seen countless videos and read alot on the forums but everyone seems to have their own contradicting ideas.
Any how, i'm thinking of building this thing on this frame:

https://hobbyking.com/en_us/hobbykingtm-s300-fpv-racer-composite-kit-300mm.html

But after that i just don't know how to select everything else. For example the motors, i know that lower Kv means bigger props and lower rpm for slow non-acrobatic flight. But the frame i selected has a 300mm length, and i need flight time over agility.
So i was thinking something like these:

http://www.banggood.com/DYS-BE1806-...-Mini-Multicopters-p-933191.html?rmmds=search

Would these even work? The size of the 1806 is really small in comparison to the 2208 with the same Kv, so which one would work best? I've seen 250mm builds pushing 10+ minutes using 2300Kv motors, but wouldn't the higher rpm run down the battery faster?

I have A LOT more questions, but for now this is my first obstacle to beat, hope some one here can help me out!

So, you've answered some of your own questions and those motors will definitely not work. Just played around with it in ecalc.com (check it out, it's an invaluable tool and lotsa fun) and had to increase some stuff before it would even except without giving me the epic fail warning. The motors you linked would be more suited for something in the sub200 range. With the 300 frame, it gave me info with those motors including less than 1 minute flight time of aggressive flying and maybe 5 minutes of hover (and really low thrust numbers). However if I tried your frame with 2208 2000 kv motors, 7X3 props and 3S 45C 2200 mah lipo, thrust was awesome. all parameters like amp draw, motor temps, etc. were really good and flight time went up to about 12 minutes. Hope that gives you a start, and welcome to the forum (and the multirotor addiction)

Holy smokes! i was way off then hahaha. But thanks a lot for the great info. 12 minutes huh? that's actually really good.
Thanks for the help buddy!
I've seen ecalc before but my head spins with all those parameters lol. how much was the AUW?

Not a problem, keep us posted on how the build goes and if you run to any problems

Dude, i cant seem to find many options for those motors. I found these:
http://www.getfpv.com/cobra-cm-2208-2000kv-motor.html
but they're $120 including shipping to my country.
Hobbyking has 2208 2100kv motors but im not sure if the difference in Kv would make a real difference.
There are also these:

Any ideas?
