First Build sort off

Hi Everyone,
Due to circumstances things got broken, so I,ve started again and Im almost done.
This build involves the speedybee f7 stack, r-xsr, tank ultimate, caddx tarsier, with the geprc mark 4 hd7, I,ve got everthing together software betaflight all done
but after calibrating the esc's and using the master switch in betaflight in the motor section motors respond nicely from idle to top end and back down.
But once I,ve saved and arm the model and apply throttle it just goes to ludicrous speed, great line from an old film. Please if someone can put an old man
back on track my stress levels would be so very grateful.

Regards Alan.

Hey Alan,
Are you sure the radar isn't jammed.
The first thing that stands out to me is the calibration. It's not something that's required with newer ESCs using Dshot. Though that may have nothing to do with it, and probably gets disregarded from BF as long as Dshot is the selected protocol from the config tab.
Next, what is the status of the quad when armed? If you're talking still connected to the computer, props off, the motors can seem to have a mind of their own. If that's the case, make sure motors are going the right way & they have the right props, stand back and arm. Just be ready on the disarm.

There's only one man that would dare give me the raspberry! You may need to check out your filter settings to see if your getting the bleep the sweeps and the creeps, or get some betaflight black box log to get more info on what the quad was experiencing when things went haywire.
