First build progress. (consider the thread closed :) )

Nothing bigger than a 180 frame or a hex or octo would be ok on 5" dual blades They don't really come in high KV either
I got a 4S capable with dys be1806 & the motors max out before the throttle.
Not good for motors & on 2S with all that weight. It's all wrong.

There is nothing stopping you putting them on say a 250 like I did even with a 1500mah 3s, it was docile. Good to learn on though. But no fun now.

It's only meeeee

Lol, yeah open but yeah.

regarding your other comments, I am following the manufacturer's steps as closely as I can. the omly thing thats iffy is the weight. I dont mind a sluggish drone at all. I actually want it to be rather sluggish, for this first build anyways since I want to learn to fly full fpv at first and not spend my first... well, minute, flying into poles and walls, lol :D

my motors are rated for 6040 inch propellers on 250mm frames.

There is also a 1806 1450kv motor that is rated for 7020 props that I will use for an ultra light quadcopter build later.

Very well but if you want to fly acro this setup will be nowhere near that standard. Go for it but stick to the 3s 1500-1800 for the same flight time. But more power to get you out of a situation even a turn.
Believe me there is not that much more power & you don't have to use full throttle. I kept buying 3s thinking 4 was too much of a jump. But the day I got a 4S I thought OMG I wasted all that dosh on 3s batteries. & the fun oh the fun.

err... there is no way a 3s 1500 to 1800 is going to give the same flight time as a 2s 4200 mah, lol... it will give me a really nice power though, you are very right there.

again though. Im not interested in acro flights or stuff like that, lol.

Let's try this in layman terms. I buy a big pickup truck and to save on mileage, I order it with a small 6 cylinder engine. Turns out the same pickup gets much better mileage with a 350 V8 because it doesn't have to work near as hard. For your frame, I'd go with 2205 2300kv motors and 4S 75C 1800mah lipo, this is basically the standard. Remember, there are settings to tone down the power that can be increased as you gain skill and confidence.

Oh OK

More weight less flight time, less weight more flight time. You will get about ten mins of very slow manoeuvres. On that 2S 4200. Hell what do I know.
