First build pixhawk 2.4.8 Quad S500 frame

I just finished my first build, and while getting ready for the first flight, couldn't get the motors to turn. I did a motor test on Ardupilot, and the motors worked fine and in the right order. Don't quite know where I went wrong. Could it be the FlySky I6X? If so, i need some help setting it up.

Pixhawk 2.4.8 controller
FS IA6B reciever
Flysky FS-I6X Transmitter

Hi most quads need to have the motors armed on most it's both sticks down and away , to shut down both sticks down and towards each other , the transmitter setting normally is quad if you not got that try helicopter H1 single servo
