Faulty naze32

Hi mate. Basically, I've got 2 quads that I'm building. Both exactly the same setup(frame, motors, esc's etc). I flashed them both and installed the latest firmware like the video says. But on one fcb everything works but motor 4 doesn't respond, so I changed both esc and motor still nothing so I know it's not that. And on the other fcb it won't recognise the transmitter properly. The throttle will not work.
 
Does motor 4 spin using clean flight or base flight?

Do you know if the fc mapped correctly for your rx?

I have received a bad fc before, and was able to rma once I proved that it was an issue with the fc.
 
The fcb that doesn't work with my transmitter, in using spektrum gear.

And the other board, just won't spin up motor 4.
They are both using open flight.
 
I am not familiar with Open Flight. Have you tried to flash Clean Flight or Base Flight, and see if it functions the same way with those?
 
Do the motors spin correctly when using this screen? If they do not then I would call it a malfunctioning FC.

Yes they all spin fine using this screen with one of my boards, the other one doesn't.
And on the one that does work on this screen. When I then go to the screen where you have to set all your centres up on the sticks at 1500,(sorry I don't know the technical name for it ) that's where the throttle doesn't work.
Sorry I sound like such a newb but I really am stuck.
 
Sounds like one is actually faulty, but the other seems to be ok.

Check the mapping in cli by typing map and hit enter. The throttle should change on input.

Make sure all of your channels are mapped correctly for your reciever. If you are not sure you can test one at a time to figure out the way it should be mapped.
