I’ve researched it, for what I would need to be of any practical use, I’d be looking at a high range version (6 miles or more) for remote checking of livestock and possibly crops…
so that puts it firmly in the territory of licensing etc…. I don’t think it’d be a problem though. The licence is cheap enough and I think a course to learn how best to operate would be highly worthwhile.
Unfortunatly, the whole drone pilots image has been highly scarred by the unlicensed/ dodgy members of society that cause nuisance with them. Either by causing irritation or using them to spy out things to pinch!
