Drones and Weapons, A Dangerous Mix
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is warning the general public that it is illegal to operate a drone with a dangerous weapon attached.


Perhaps you’ve seen online photos and videos of drones with attached guns, bombs, fireworks, flamethrowers, and other dangerous items. Do not consider attaching any items such as these to a drone because operating a drone with such an item may result in significant harm to a person and to your bank account.

Operating a drone that has a dangerous weapon attached to it is a violation of Section 363 of the 2018 FAA Reauthorization Act enacted Oct. 5, 2018. Operators are subject to civil penalties up to $25,000 for each violation, unless the operator has received specific authorization from the Administrator of the FAA to conduct the operation. “Dangerous Weapon” means any item that is used for, or is readily capable of, causing death or serious bodily injury.
Operators should keep in mind that federal regulations and statutes that generally govern drone operations still apply. Some state and federal criminal laws regarding weapons and hazardous materials may also apply to drone operators or manufacturers involved in certain operations.
 
Why would you want to arm drones, unless you're a terrorist or Jihadist? Take care in answering that question!

Yes, that can be true, but in this day and age, the Police and FBI are looking at ALL possibilities, whether by word of mouth, internet social media and/or forums like this one. This is moderately open to public scrutiny, just look at all the commercials that get on this, someone IS looking at it!
 
I will this was a stupid thing for the FAA to send out anyone who is stupid enough to think it was okay to put a weapon on a quadcopter probably can't read and don't know how to check their email so it was pretty pointless.
 
FDA should send us warning email not to put bombs in our cake before baking sure that'll solve all the problems.
 
I think I will arm my Phantom with a "Fart Canister"
I have the formula.

"A fart is composed of about 59 percent nitrogen, 21 percent hydrogen, 9 percent carbon dioxide, 7 percent methane and 4 percent oxygen. Only about one percent of a fart contains hydrogen sulfide gas and mercaptans, which contain sulfur, and the sulfur is what makes farts stink.

Teach your quadcopter how to bomb like a pigeon, then launch it over the parking lot of the FAA. Windshields are the best target. Just poop on those SOBs!
 
army vets fart smell is the go just imagine fishing line dropper thing that drops fart bombs hover over a crowded area and drop a fart bomb look out below ..............
