Hello folks,

I'm looking at this drone

and need an opintion on it.

What I want is a small quadcopter for line of sight acro flying. It should be about 180...200mm in size (yes, I know the tyro99 is a bit larger). What I find important is durability, repairability and availability of replacement parts (that's probably mainly because I crash a lot ).
Of course it should also fly well.
I will remove the camera and vtx, because I don't use it.

So far I have flewn the MJX Bugs 3 mini for a year but now I think it's time for something better.
He says, he's not convinced of the strenth of the frame. What do you guys think?

Or do you have other suggestions for me? I wanna spend max. 200 USD (plus batteries, tx/rx and remote).

Cheers,
Daniel

I've built the 69 and 79 tyros, the 79 is excellent for the price but it had a few issues. The camera was horrible and the vtx quit working after a few flights. Also the motor wires are the cheap plastic coated and not the silicone insulated kind.

For a beater kwad/first build though I think the tyros are an excellent value.

i know this is 20 day old and i maybe to late.. but check out tyro 109.. is the new upgreaded version of the 99 with better parts for 10$ more. i have 1 and it work good .. you can get smart audio and telemetry to work on it too.

The 79 has now been transferred onto a martian 3" freestyle frame. The motors have loud bearings but the thing still flies great after 100's of flights.

Love the tyro!!!!
