Hellow , i own a Eachine EX5 , good drone for a noob like me , but the thing is the Camera does not save on SD-Card it saves into phone.

Is there any way to take off that camera and put another one in with SD-Card module? i want to use same app on the phone, no extra monitors.

I want to change cause of the lag and stuttering of the video saved on the phone. Thank you

The easy solution is just slap another camera on there that is just doing the recording onto an SD card. A gopro does this but is pretty pricey, some alternatives, if you search for "action camera" you can find things that are pretty small and rugged and have onboard recording, in general I've had pretty good personal experience with runcam hardware (use the split versions of their cams with the small image sensor and separate PCB with MicroSD slot for recording).

Harder solution is actually replace the existing cam and use the existing wiring to feed the vid signal into the quadcopter, for that you would need to find out the voltage being fed into the camera (voltmeter) and what kind of signal the camera is sending out (oscilloscope, google part/model # of cam), it is likely just a standard analog video signal that then gets encoded by the MCU/processor and transmitted via the wifi signal to your phone, but it might have limits or requirements on resolution or other specs I'm unaware of.
