Eachine 250 FPV racer put your names on this thread

At first it is a little weird. Hard to explain. You lose some perceptions and it takes a bit to start getting comfortable. But once you get a feel for it, it is one of the most exhilarating things I have experienced. The first time I soared over trees was such a rush! Just start slow and don't try and rush to be a pro the first time out.

That sounds awesome. I feel that would be a problem... Wanting be a pro and do crazy stuff..lol.. In your opinion would it be better to start with a screen, instead of the goggles?

What he said. I bought 5 sets of props (10 sets wouldn't hurt), 4 spare batteries, a low voltage buzzer for the batteries. I also use the Eachine Diversity LCD as my FPV set up and mount it on a tripod. Goggles are preferred but my bank account won't allow for that just yet, haha.
Did you see these? http://www.http://www.banggood.com/Eachine-VR-007-5_8G-40CH-HD-FPV-Goggles-Video-Glasses-4_3-Inch-With-7_4V-800mAh-Battery-p-960761.html.com/?utmid=331 thought about ordering them.

Hi it depends on the pilot some pick it up faster than overs do , I would say to sit when you first start off as it can make you feel strange as your eyes are seeing one thing but the balance sensors in your ears are not picking up any movement , but that dont last long , 250 racing is very fast and your crash a lot thats just part of racing so make sure you have spare props ( lots and lots) some arms and tools to fix it with

Hi as for goggles or screen if you need glasses then a screen may be better ,but goggles make you feel more drawn in to the FPV

Yea, I wear glasses and can not comfortably wear goggles. The screen keeps me immersed enough for now! Getting contacts for goggle wearing eventually. They link you posted gramps did not work for me.

Wow, thanks for the tips guys. This stuff sounds extreme! I guess it's time to start saving and make the purchase... You have me convinced!
Cheers!!

Ok.. I guess the price is great but we need to see the reviews on the quality and such.

By the look of the construction and the very poor monitor resolution I can almost guarantee the other goggles I posted will be much better. In my opinion, if you really want to have fun in this hobby, specifically FPV, you really should save up and buy better gear right off the start. You will end up saving money in the long run by not trying to find the cheapest way into the sport.

Yes you are probably right! I've bought the cheaper stuff before and always regret it!

Thanks man. This forum has been awesome and very helpful to me and I really appreciate it.

In my opionion goggles are way better. For me, the monitor was like training wheels as I kept shifting my eyes from quad in the air to monitor. It slowed my progress. After the equilibrium adjstment ( I had to sit down so I wouldn't fall over or puke) goggles are awesome.
