Does anyone know if I can pair a controller to the sharper image Dx-5 that didn’t originally come with it? I have bought 2 and my first one flew away now the second one I broke my controller so I’m trying to mix and match. Anyone know or have anything?

Yes, you can absolutely do this! The Sharper Image DX-5 doesn't hardcode individual remotes to individual drones at the factory; instead, it uses a standard 2.4GHz open-pairing sequence every time it boots up. To get your remaining drone and working controller to talk to each other, just make sure both are completely turned off first. Turn the drone on and place it on a flat surface so its lights start flashing. Then, switch your remote on and immediately push the left joystick (throttle) all the way up, and then pull it all the way down. The remote will beep, the drone's flashing lights will turn solid, and you'll be locked in and ready to fly. Just make sure there aren't any other un-paired drones turned on nearby while you do this, or the remote might accidentally sync to those instead.
