Drones vs Birds

From those of you with experience relating to this, how do different species of birds react to drones. Do they run away as soon as they see one? Or do they just sit there, on the tree tops or wherever until the drone comes near them? Do any of them sit until the drone comes within a certain distance near them, and do any species just sit until the drone hits them ?
I know from videos that pigeons react by flocking together in tight groups, like a shoal of fish as a means of defence mechanism, and that predatory birds, like hawks attack the drones.

Some geese in a field didn't mind my quad at all, hummingbirds will buzz along with my tinywhoop, hawks get close but I've yet to have one attack, buzzards seem to come in for a closer look. I think most birds don't mind as long as you don't get too close to their nest.
