The material is a heavy vinyl scrim. Similar to those old school yellow rain jackets. They are apx. 14mil thick.

Have you tested this product in sub-zero temps? This might be great for our cold Canadian winters, just concerned that it may become brittle when it's below zero

Have you tested this product in sub-zero temps?

They are vinyl so prolonged exposure to sub-zero temps may cause it to become brittle and could crack if handled before warming back up. Those temps are not great for batteries either.
