Drone Defender rifle is a quadcopter's worst enemy - TrustedReviews

well anyone 'always being harassed by pesky drones' has my sympathy, but I see jerks hiding in the park to 'shoot' down innocent law-abiding quad jockeys.
Boo.

Selling to the general public would be a bad idea, it is just asking for lawsuits over one persons freedom to enjoy their hobby versus anothers freedom of perceived privacy. I say percieved privacy just because there are many other better ways to spy on someone other than a lit up, buzzing, bright colored UAV.

Now for law enforcement, these are a good idea. There needs to be some way to stop incidents like the UAVs that have been flown into prisons with contraband on two separate occasions in the US so far.

This will most likely never reach the general public, and for law enforcement this design in impractical, it will only work if your fail-safe is to land, otherwise it will RTH, drop like a rock, or what ever else the fail-safe is set to do.
