Dromida Ominus not responding to throttle

Hey Guys,

I have a Dromida Ominus that recently stopped working. Whenever I power up the radio and hook the quad to power, the lights blink as if it's bound, but I get no throttle abilities.

If I press the difficulty modes, the blinking patterns change, so it is getting a signal, but no power to the motors. I've made sure that my trim is in the neutral position for throttle and that throttle is off, and have even tested all the motors to no avail.

Does anyone have an idea as to what's going on?

Does it have any arming and disarming method? Check the board over for anything that looks like physical damage, and have you checked the battery voltage?

Thanks for the replay, GJH. The battery voltage is solid, and the controller board has no signs of damage. As far as arming and disarming, I believe I just need to have the throttle turned down, as well as the trim in neutral.

Can you reflash it?

Yeahhhh looks like I'll have to replace the board. I know I bound up the rotors a few times after crashing and not letting off the throttle quick enough. Do you think the back voltage could have fried something?

Thanks again for the help, man.

It is possible, they are DC motors right? If they are not reversable you can put a diode in them to prevent that from happening if the motors become bound.

Oo great point. I'll give it a shot once I get my new board in!

Thanks again
Haha, hopefully that fixes it. You need an FPV racer haha. This hobby is a serious addiction, should have tried heroin or meth, at least there are stories of people quitting , and I may have saved a few bucks xD.

Yeaaaaap fpv racing is next for me in this downward spiral into rock bottom. Soon I'll be waking up next to dumpsters clutching my broken quad after I go broke and my wife leaves me.

So excited...

xD Living in a tent on the street with a quad is better than a mansion without a quad hahahahaha
