Does anyone use a TILE to find an errant drone?

Having lost my first inexpensive drone in the trees, and before I send off its replacement...I've added a label with my name, address, phone number and AMA registration numbers printed on it. I thought about sticking one of the new TILE devices on the drone, too. I wonder if anyone is doing this now?

You left your name. address, phone # and AMA #s on the drone and you lost it among the trees.
Anyone, I mean ANYONE, who picks up the drone will know who you are, where you live and how to contact you.
Ever think about the fact that you are making it easy for scammers to defraud you?
That possibility doesn't come to your mind, does it?
If you start getting many phishing letters, you know someone has your drone.

I go around thinking that out of 100 people who might find my drone, 98% of them are honest. The other two percent can find my name and address in tons of ways without chasing down a drone stuck in a tree someplace.

Every post on this, or a ton of other sites, gives scammers a shot at all of us. Not a worry for me. Thank you for your concern. Hope I am right.

Yup for hobby ones I build I'll put a vifly beeper/finder on it that'll go off if I flick a switch or the power gets cut (has its own little battery that recharges off the quads main battery). Can also add a GPS module or if don't need the specific location then a tile or other kind of Bluetooth beacon could work too.
