Do I've been waiting to fly all week and the wind has been blowing steady in east Texas all week not to mention busy with work now the weekend is here and I have time but it's been rainy this morning it's not raining this moment but everything is wet does anybody fly in these conditions i could just cruise and take it easy but I know the landing is gonna be a hop and flip on to it's back I'm sure I can fly and not get it wet but I'm sure the landing will allow some contact with the wetness

RE : I know the landing is gonna be a hop and flip on to it's back

Suggestion : Cut out a piece of cardboard large enough for the drone to land and "hop and flip" without contacting the wet ground directly.

I like the landing pad idea I'll have give it a shot so simple lol never even thought of it.... As far as the umbrellas go...I was really talking about flying when it had just finished raining when everything was soaking wet not actually flying in the rain lol i have not yet perfected the umbrella technique

A little splash on the outside may be ok, but Electronics Hates Water !
Drones have openings for necessary cooling ventilation.
If water gets inside, there will probably be short circuits that destroy it.
If that happens, remove the battery immediately and dry the insides very thoroughly in a warm place before flying it again.

For dry landings, you can get a folding drone landing pad, for example:

My personal preference on grass (wet or dry) is to take off from and land on my hand.
