Hi guys!

Yesterday dji released its new dji phantom 4, so as dji follower I was very impressed by PT4’s improved technical features! Also I have been reading some things about ActiveTrack, a several controlling- and flying mode. But although http://www.drohnen.de/10775/dji-phantom-4-quadrocopter/serves a multitude of information, I still haven’t the faintest idea of its working o_O. Can anybody help?

I ordered mine as soon as they added them to the DJI store, One Phantom 4 and three extra batteries...now I just need to find a specific hard case for the newest bird in the house...can't wait for it to show up around the middle of the month!!!

I got one coming too. Can't wait for the extra speed!

There are videos out there demonstrating flight characteristics. It's not perfect, but it's moving in the right direction.

Hi,did you find any new hard case for phantom 4?

Yes I did, I ordered a Microraptor Hardcase with metal locking latches and wheels for about $200USD. They don't have them up on the website yet so you must contact them to order. They told me it will ship in the first week of April so I guess I'll be using the case the bird comes with for the first couple of weeks.

The best part about the Microraptor case is that if you have their soft pack you can just use the same foam in both so you can order the Hardcase with foam for ~$200 and then buy the soft pack for ~$70 without the foam. They are also using the same case and pack for the P4 that they used with the P3 which work great for me as I already have the softpack so no need to order another.

Thank you for you your information.

I see mine is now on it's way, Soon I'll be able to say if it was all worth it...I'm sure it is but it will be a long few days but I can take solace in the fact that the winds are far too high to fly today and the next few are forecasted to be little or no better (insert rolling eyes here). When it does show up I can put my Osmo to use and make some unboxing video's, not that I'll have the patients required to accomplish that. Next week I'll be headed down to Moab Utah for the 2016 Easter Jeep Safari, I also ordered 5 extra batteries, I don't know if I'll get them at the same time or to follow but I'm hoping that is enough for a full day out on the trails, The last time I made a Jeep video was in 2008 so this should prove rewarding and a good test for the 4th iteration of the Phantom platform.

Just for fun a link to my 2008EJS or at least one trail, Poison Spider in my old silver TJ Rubicon...
