Hey guys, I recently finished my first quadcopter build. I used the F450 frame, the E300 power system and a KK2.1 board. For some reson my KK2.1 board does not get any power... Can someone help?
Thanks!

Hi mate BEC stands for battery eliminator circuit
Most ESC will have an 5-9v out put for the receiver and servos to run off, new afro esc dont always have this so a bec will be needed
The naza M and nazaM lite has there own Bec that comes with them

Hi its not for the ESC , The Bec will power the FCB and Receiver any FPV cameras etc , so you need to know what voltage range all the oter parts need so them we can work out what volt and amps the Bec need to be if you can list what you have to run and its voltage range and amps it needs I can them tell you what you want

So what does this BEC do and why do I need it?
Sorry for being such a noob.
Also someone told me the E300 power system from DJI only works with NAZA... Is this true?

Hi the esc you have do not have a power out to run the receiver which then powers the FCB so you need power a BEC only does power at a preset volts and amps this will run the receiver etc
the E300 was made for the DJI flame wheel and that has a built in power board , others can use system but need a power board or loom for the ESCs I have not heard any thing on that about can only be used with Naza , it makes sense as the Naza has a BEC that comes with it so get over the problem your having
It is also used for an upgrade to the power system the phantom etc have , but at the end of the day its just an ESC /Motor that are a matched unit , the plug still has it signal lead so should work with any FCB , you just need to power the receiver and FCB to make the system work
