Hi, I've been using quad's for a while now but really just for fun outside, mostly Hubsan models. I want to get something that I will mostly use for filming and the 3 that keep being mentioned are DJI, Blade and Walkera as I want a gopro mount and/or some sort of HD camera as well a "Home to Base" feature as I want to film surfing, skiing, wakeboarding, ice hockey training etc.

I know the "value for money" will come up here and how you can build your own but I'm not really interested in that. I'm not loaded I'll still buy within my budget but I just prefer that simple out of the box type product rather than something that I have to spend ages building/fixing etc.

The one thing these quad's don't have is FPV which I really do need as it may be out of view at times. So I really need some advice on finding a gopro FPV kit, with monitor.

If anyone has any suggestion's I would really appreciate it, I have been flying small agile quad's for a while now but I really don't know much about the bigger quad's used for filming.

Hi mate rtf go dji with go pro and a fatshark fpv system , the dji will have gps and return home as a platform they are great but can cost FPV is costly good one about £300 just for FPV blade will carry the go pro and the quad is about £300 but i dont know if you can fit a fpv A built one will be best if you dont want the build then get it made for you but its cost again ,if you was just keeping it in sight then dji or blade will do i will put 3 links on here for you so you can see a dji in action and a kit for fpv so you can see how good a made for the job quad can be, the walkera is not that good very cheap fail alot there helis are a nightmare had one catch on fire in flight esc failed
