directions seems bit wrong

just had a quick go outside, when i push to the right on the transmitter, the quad goes left and when i go forward then the quad goes backward. is that meant to do that?
 
HI mate you need to reverse the channels in the transmitter or FCB, as You say what you have I cant help more , if you can tell me what transmitter and FCB you have fitted to the quad
 
thank you for the reply, i have the cheerson cx20.

the red and green lights were facing me, at first i thought maybe i had the quad other way round but i think i had it the right way.

i did the calibration using the mission planner software but there was some things i couldnt understand so i did the best i could.

do you know if there is an easier way to calibrate it please?

Hi Hope so you tube has a lot on videos that can help at times so I am hoping that using these will help you reset this quad
 
If you updated this may be the problem but most times you reset it will be to the firmware you have at the time
 
Ok thats good then try a reset then ,if you messed up when setting up this will put it back to the start( remove props ) then try it
