Custom Frame

This isn't my first quadcopter, but this is the first one I am building from scratch, and the first one that I am trying to incorporate FPV. Anyways, I was wondering why you don't want the housing of the battery, flight controller, etc, hanging lower from the props. I feel like that would shift the center of gravity down a little bit, making it more stable.

Thoughts?

Also, tube, flat, or square arms? I'm looking at a prop size of about 10-12 inches.

Thanks!

Hi mate most quads have the FCB housed inside so its protected inside the frame , put battery under as its a little tougher
If you go for tube arms you can tilt motors to give faster forward flight , but your need a FCB that lets you tell it the motors are tilted like the nase32
