Creating a drone launch pad

I am currently doing A-level 3D product design and I am in the process of creating a drone launch pad. The product will reduce the likelihood of the drone coming into contact with mud, water etc.; enable the user to quickly measure 50 metres from the product (to check if complying to CAA regulations) and provide a flat and level surface for the drone to be launched from. I would greatly appreciate it if you would answer the short questionnaire posted below so that I can make my product to a standard that suits that majority of people. Thank you in advance.

For my purposes, I'm more interested in the following:

  • A clearly marked launch pad area so potential bystanders know to keep away from it.
  • A surface that prevents dust/debris from flying about damaging the aircraft/motors
  • A means of leveling on a surface that is uneven
