Convert hdmi video to mipi for hdzero vtx connect

My application is quite different from what is usually employed. I am building a submersible ROV on a 150’ umbilical. I have hdmi or rca composite video reaching my surface relay station. I wish to remotely send the video using hd-zero freestyle vtx transmitter to my frsky tandem c20 hd controller. Does anyone know if this can be done? Any help would really be appreciated. Thank you

How about using RG316 with the u.fl at the vtx end, and SMA at the radio end.
I've never tried to bypass the antennas before, but I can't see why it wouldn't work.

Thanks for responding. I’m not certain that would work for my application. My ROV will send video to a surface station via composite coax cable. The surface station will wirelessly send the video to my boat (and receive control commands). If the antennae is removed, I would lose the wireless video transmission capability would I not?

Ah okay, sorry.
I'm getting a better picture now.
It doesn't sound like you're using a HDZ camera then.
I doubt you'll find adaptivity with this level of hardware. Very proprietary.
I would be putting an HDZ camera & vtx in the vehicle. Big problem there is keeping it cool.
From there use the RG316 coax to an antenna at the surface.

I can’t put an HDZ camera on the ROV as a 150’ Mipi vtx cable wouldn’t work. Wireless signal transmission through water is very, very difficult so I need to convert the video source at the surface.

If you have any thoughts or inspirations, it might really help, or even thoughts about other possible sources for assistance.

Thank You so much.
