Control question

I have a xhover mxp230 with the cc3d flight controller.

If I push the right control stick to full forward, the vehicle seems to pitch so dramatically it obviously wants to do summersaults. It hasn't actually happened, but it seems obvious it will.

Is there a way to designate a maximum pitch? So that I could push forward, and the vehicle would go to 45 degrees for example, and then just go forward.?

Ive only flown a few times, so my perceptions may be wrong.

I believe that you can limit pitch, but if you are not using auto level then don't hold the pitch forward. If you just want to make it more doctile then decrease teh range for that channel on your transmitter.

dont forget no smashy smashy too lol.

I totally get learning to walk before you run.
