Control board not working with ESC

First off, the set up...
Hobby King 2.4Ghz 4Ch Tx & Rx V2 (Mode 2)
Hobbyking X650F Glass Fiber Quadcopter Frame 550mm
HobbyKing Multi-Rotor Control Board V3.0 (Atmega328 PA)
Q Brain 4 x 20A Brushless Quadcopter ESC 2-4S 3A SBEC
4 x NTM Prop Drive Series 28-30A 750KV / 140W
12x4.5 SF Props 2pc Standard Rotation/2 pc RH Rotation (Red)
Turnigy nano-tech 3300mah 2S 25~50C Lipo Pack

Now, my problem seems to be my control board. After a little research I figured out the ESC programming and the Q-Brain seems to work fine when plugged directly to the Rx, BUT as soon as I hook up the control board that is supposed to be pre-flashed with + set up all I get is a 3 note tune then a single beep. There is no response from anything after that.

Can anyone help who has had similar issues or a similar setup that worked? It would be greatly appreciated. Even if your advice is a different control board, I can return mine and buy a new one easily.

Ha - I thought I had a fly on my screen. Nice icon!

Anyway, I wouldn't expect compatibility to be an issue, but I did a search on the HobbyKing forum and saw someone with the same problem as you from July. No responses there though. I haven't found any combinations with the qbrain and the hobby king control board, but I've seen a lot of setups online with that and a kk board, which should be pretty much the same thing.

Hopefully someone else can chime in with more experience with that board/esc combo.

Turns out the FC was bad, swapped out with a good i86 control board and after figuring out the motor arrangement and reversing a couple controls, all that's left is adjusting pitch, roll, and yaw.

I posted my issue before I read this post. I think I may be having the same issue, but have not concluded the problem. I can run throttle test setting on motor/ESCs from KK 2.1, but when I arm it to fly they beep like yours, but continuously (probably difference in ESC manuf., but similar symptoms). How did you know it was the FC?
