Connecting receiver to transmitter

hello! I’m very new to FPV quads and what not. But I can not seem to be able to bind my transmitter to my receiver since I do not have a binding cable and can’t seem to find out how to make one. This is just one of the many problems I’ll need assistance on

I have a TaranisQ X7 transmitter and a FrSky X4R receiver

10cm piece of wire strip a cm off each end then wrap it around the 2 pins.
Put Tx in bind mode & apply power to the rx. The tx should then confirm this. Unpower & take the wire off.
Or if yo have a servo plug just remove the middle wire & join the outer 2 together.
That's all a bind plug is.

If you didn't get one then u probably don't need it. Sorry I don't use frsky gear but that's my MO.

No "binding cable" needed to flash an FRSky rx. If your X4R won't bind it's possible you have incompatible firmware, better do some research if you want to get the most out of your Taranis. This will get you started.

Soz if I had the time I would have dug but today is my birthday & I'm @a funeral.
Such is life. I had an inkling the FRSKY didn't need a bind plug. Oh well another drink I think .
