can't connect iphone 6s to my new sharper image dx-5

I have tried to connect my phone to my sharper image dx-5 drone. My phone is an iphone 6s with ios version 10.2.1. I downloaded the app for the phone to connect and it won't connect to the drone. this drone uses wifi for it's connection. please help.

The app is for streaming video image to your phone only, not to control the DX-5. Any quad/camera that I connect to my android tablet use the same basic procedure:

-Power up quad and activate wifi if required
- go into settings→wifi and you should see the dx-5 connecting
-open app and you should now see video being displayed

Check to make sure you downloaded the correct app (ios vs android)

When you go into your wifi settings of your phone, are you seeing the drone?

yep and i connect to it.

just wandering but would an older ios cause connection problems cause i'm at one of the 10 versions and now there is 11

Doubt it, but the app usually states system requirements. Also, do you have Bluetooth disabled? Sometimes it can interfere but usually just the dependability of connectivity. Worth a try though.

i usually keep blutooth disabled to save battery with the phone.

trying a version of 360 flight that has better reviews. the one i had was by someone else and had 1 star.
