Can you identify this quadcopter?

Hi Guys,

I got this Quadcopter not sure about the brand or anything, just came in a box. Here is the image:

1. I charged the quadcopter. Its LEDs get flashing.
2. I pressed ON on the controller.
3. I flicked the left controller up then down again, the controller beeped and the LEDs on the quadcopter became steady ON no more flashing.

According to the manual, all I had to do was pull the left lever up and the drone would take off, but the motors won't even rotate. Not any of them, all 4 motors are OFF. The manual said this is a safety feature, that the drone will not give power to the motors if it is not in communications with the controller. Fair enough, but I think the communications is working both ways. I read several posts about this problem but all were previously working models that hit a wall, their blades rotate but no lift off. In my case the blades are not even rotating, I pressed all the buttons, what else can i do?

Hi GJH, no i looked everywhere, no numbers at the bottom of the remote nor at the bottom of the drone itself. I took it outdoors to see if the issue was 'no GPS signal to lock in a home location to return to', as was suggested in one of the articles I read, but still no movement of any kind in the rotors. I tried to press the buttons in combination, also nothing.

Do you have a multimeter or a was to test that the battery really charged? Some won't arm on a low battery. Also are you setting it on the ground when you do the up and then down with the sticks?

Hi, GJH i tried on the ground and on the desk. I do have a voltmeter, what voltage am i supposed to read?

Should be around 4v per cell. Probably a 1S battery so 4-ish but no lower than 3.7v. If the battery were older or over discharged it could easily be dropping really fast.

Thanks guys, I returned it to the shop and the replacement one is working perfectly.
