Hi,
I just got into the hobby, baught a some used drone parts online, and I wonder what are these ?

First one :

I think it's a BEC (because of Vin, Vout) which I would use to transfer the batterie's 11V to 5V for motors..., but I'm not sure and I got nothing to actually test it

Second one:

I think this part can make a sound if I lost the drone, but I don't know what's its name so I can't do any research about it

Bonus question :

How can I know if this ESC got a built-in BEC ? I don't know what's this model's name

Thank you

Hi mate you want more than 5 volts for the motors but you can use it for FCB if it's 5 volts
The ESC. If you power it test the yellow wife for 5 volts out ( make sure you cover the motor wires with tape so they can't short)
On the in line part what's On the other side of board if its a lost model finder it should have a speaker
have you got more than one ESC ? 12amp is not very powerful so it more for a mini racing quad but not so much for powerful motors

Thank you for your response.
So the first component is in fact a BEC?
For the ESC, yeah I have 4 of them, but I don't have a multimeter at home so I can't really test if they output a lower voltage than the one that the battery provides

I'd say get a multimeter and a soldering iron they are the two most useful tools when it comes to electronics diagnostics and repair which comes up a lot when working on your own quads.

The second one looks like a small speaker/beeper of some sort. I've seen small ones like that on motherboards of computers.
