Can I trim off the outer edge of my board camera?

One of my friends seems to think that the outer part Is there as a form of rf protection, but to me it looks like it's meant to give more options for mounting, thoughts? 12961139_1144124202278631_1517658059394291080_o-240x427.jpg

I've had a couple boards like this. I just dremeled off the outer part so that it would fit my 250. However they weren't exactly the same. You shouldn't have a problem however please note this advice comes with no guarantee:confused:

Hahaha, same for mine, should be fine, but you have no guarantees.

I've cut down a Eachine FPV camera and it still works, that is only of a little comfort I suppose.

I bought one of these - no trimming necessary - the freakin' thing is TINY! (ordered Feb 27th, finally delivered just yesterday!) I *wish* it was slightly larger - it would then fit into the mount I picked up at the same time… as it is, the mount is ginormous compared to this itty bitty camera!

You said tiny? Take a look at this one too hahaha. Lower power so not very suitable for bigger quads, but perfect for those symas
