Can ESC's be mismatched?

Drone? I don't see any drone ... crap!
Can I have 30 amp ESC's mixed with a couple of 25/20 amp spread around unevenly?

I have to replace two 30 amps, but they are becoming very hard to find. I'm hoping I can just stick two 25 or 20 amp ESC's on two of the arms that have the exact same motors on all 6 arms of my hexacopter. They are all from the same manufacturer, Emax.

I don't know, but just intution........with differences in firmware, manufacturer differences, etc etc..........I think if you really know what your doing, you could probably get away with it. But, for myself, it's not something I would want to try..........but that's just me. It makes me think of running different size tires on a drag racer. You could probably play with the air pressure and get equal traction............but lord, if you don't and you're running anything 1000hp or more............it can be a major crash...............
