Hey guys, sort-of-newb here. Do you guys know if there are any good substitutes for the drone kit QAV250? It's one of the drone kits that meet all of the requirements I need for a research I'm doing at my Uni and the complete kit is not available anywhere. With regards to why not just research and build one myself, I just want to exhaust all of my options first before I move on. Starting from zero just leaves for so much stuff that can go wrong without even going into my research topic (Sorry haha complaining too much).
The reason I chose this drone is because it:
- is relatively small and lightweight (198x235x85 mm and < 1 kg for flying indoors during testing),
- uses Pixhawk flight controller (mainly because I want to connect a Raspberry Pi as a companion computer and implement the MAVLink Protocol),
- and has a GPS (for flying outdoors)
Thank you very much, and I appreciate any information you would have on this matter. Any links, or resources would be super helpful too.
Kind regards,
