Built in power filter?

So i was watching an rcmodelreviews video on YouTube, and he said that if your vtx has a power out, then it has a built in power filter. not knowing this, I already have a power filter on the way. Is this true? Will having another filter hurt? Is the one inside of these transmitters good? Here's my transmitter:

It depends on the fpv systems you use,if it work well with the fpv systems,then it is good.

Why not buy a set of them from one supplier?

A set as in Rx and tx? I'm using fatshark attitude v3s, I'd like to continue just using the built in reciever, and that fat shark compatible transmitter is like 80 bucks

A matching set wouldn't have anything to do with what a power filter would take care of anyway, it's just to stop noise from the motors
