Bugs 2W mysterious flight

I have a stock Bugs 2W. In two occasions, I had it go unresponsive and stuck in the air untill the battery died enough to let it fall out of the sky. Both times it was at night. And, both times it was at an undisclosed altitude over 100m but under 400m. Skies were clear. No signs of UFO activity. Other than those two times it flies perfect. I have flown it over 999m with no issues. Is there some night time anomaly that takes place after 10 pm or what? Any thoughts? Oh, serious thoughts.

Have you ever noticed it getting a little misty or damp after dark? Could it be possible that your Bugs is blowing moisture down into it's body and causing a bad connections to get worse? Do you store your Bugs and controller in a warm and dry house prior to flying. Both of them could be sucking in moisture laden air when taken outside where it's cold and damp. Your controller isn't averse to having a bad solder connection, so the same could happen there. It's a possibility and knowing the soldering used in many Chinese quadcopters it's likely, or at least more likely than it being caused by UFO's. :)
