Sooooo.....

Let's supposed my piece that's supposed to look like this:

(source)

Now looks like this:

I'm thinking that's bad, right?

Do I need to order in a new transmitter, or would simply covering the part remedy the issue? Everything seemed to work fine when I came inside.

Thanks for the input.

(Flight time on this brand-new quad: maybe 5 minutes. Crash: gentle. Luck: unfortunate.)

It's part of your FPV set up. You can buy a new one here:

Oops just noticed the word "source" under your first photo, you already know where to get one cheaper. It's the FPV receiver and I wonder if it would work like that?

Have you gone out and tired anyway?

Yeah, it seems to work fine. Luckily it's not too expensive of a part, so I can fly it until it fails. We'll see how it goes!

Thanks for the reply/

Thanks for the tip! Went ahead and covered it with a dab of superglue (I didn't have hot glue). Seemed to work alright. Still transmits fine. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
