Broke a motor shaft.

Hi,
I was flying a ZMR250 quad yesterday. I gave it a plenty of height, like ~200ft or so then a bird came out of nowhere and crashed into the quad. The bird (a sparrow) was cut into pieces(still feeling bad about it). And I was sure that my quad will soon be in pieces too but it wasn't in pieces just a propeller was off. Later I found out that I had broken a shaft of my Emax MT2204(half was with the propeller and half still on the motor) What should I do? Other buying a whole new motor!

Considering that you had a collision with a bird & then crashed from 200' with only the only damage being a $15 motor & a propeller, you should be laughing when you give the vendor you credit card number.

Search around, there are many replacement shafts sold.

Hi go to emax.com they do shafts for most of there motors just ask them which shaft will fit the 2204

Buy a new motor, atleast you got spares then. Bell housing & main block.
