Thanks for checking out my post....

So I got a new X4 last night and I opened the box and charged the battery. I plugged in the battery and the transmitter paired fine but the quad started spinning one prop at full speed. Then it switched to a different prop spinning at full speed. I unplugged it in a panic and I tried again. It all seemed good at first.

I powered it up and gave it some throttle. Never took off just testing if it would spaz out again and it did. It started spinning a prop at full speed and I had to unplug it. I let it sit a bit and peak charged the battery again.

I tried once more and plugged it back in. This time after pairing with the transmitter two leds dimmed and turned off then back on and then dimmed again. I looked at it for a minute like WTF then the motor started spinning full speed again. I shut it down and put it away.

I'm pretty sure this is a faulty board but is there anything I'm missing or anything I can do to fix it before I return it? I'm so disappointed. :) You know how it is to look forward to something then you get it and it's not working.

(Walks away hanging head and kicking rocks)

*Edit

I tried recording though the camera too as a test and all I got was multicolored pixels and distortion if that makes sense. Is this thing just shot? LOL

I will give it a try thank you. It doesn't explain the browning of leds and camera recording colory distortion and stuff though. Plus the box wasn't sealed with a sticker or anything. Like it was a faulty return sent back out to me as new or something.

amazon. they won't exchange it. They said I can return it and get my money back.

Check out some sellers on eBay for the Hubsan. I know we all have our favorite online quad dealers but I’ve had pretty good luck on the Bay. Depending on the particular product, you can usually get decent pricing and if you’re lucky a USA-based seller. Gear Best and Banggood are popular but don’t sleep on the Bay.
