Black Falcon will not pair?

Merry Christmas everyone........
Yes I know, it is not the best quad made, but it was a gift today from someone who knows nothing about drones.
Drone batteries are fully charged for over an hour each, red LED is out on the batteries showing full charge.
Remote control batteries are new and show 1.6 VDC each ( 3 ) and have been swapped out by two other sets of new batteries.
The drone turns on and flashes blue and is "looking" for a pairing.
The remote control turns on , beeps once, and flashes red constantly. There is no pairing after several minutes. Re-booting does not help.
I downloaded the smart phone app and the phone shows no pairing either. ( Wifi is on, drone is never listed in the menu for found items )
The instructions are poorly written and says nothing about pairing the items or even how to do it.
It may be "Operator Malfunction " or the unit i toast?
There are no marking on the drone saying which model it is, it looks very much like the E-88 or E-99 model, the manual shows nothing model wise.
I've checked the internet of sites that talk about this drone, they are all 404 today. Youtube videos are no help.
Please advise if I'm missing a step to pair the drone, remote and phone. I appreciate any helpful info.

Please don't be a troll. It is a gift.

Rob.

Screenshots of the black falcon drone. Is it the same as yours?

If yes, please read on........

RE :The drone turns on and flashes blue and is "looking" for a pairing. The remote control turns on , beeps once, and flashes red constantly. There is no pairing after several minutes.

Suggestion : push both the controller's LEFT and RIGHT sticks UP and then Down at the same time.
See if the lights will stop flashing.
If it does, then it's paired.

The drone took off and went to the left like a rabbit. I held the direction control over to the right but no response.
It lost two of the blade protectors when it hit a fence in the weeds.
The "Land now" button order took too long for the drone to respond.
I have to find a larger field to try it out again and see if it will t and fly as it should and zero out.

Is this your Black Falcon controller ?

If yes, read on.

From what I see, the controller has 2 sets of up and down buttons. You will have to find out if they are both for trimming or both for launching and landing. I am assuming they are for trimming but I have doubts.

RE : The drone took off and went to the left like a rabbit
Your drone needs "trimming", aka "fine tuning".
In your case, press the Right Trim button to correct the drone flying to the Left by itself.
Conversely, press the Left Trim button if the drone flies to the Right by itself.
You may have to try a few times in order to get the proper trimming. If you trim too much to the right, then you will have to use the Left Trim button to compensate.
( It is possible that you will need to press the Right Trim button" and move the Right stick to the right at the same time. I have a drone requiring that extra step.)

P.S. Don't you have a user manual for reference?
