Black Falcon drone wifi doesn't show

RE : Got it a while ago and just opened it today
I want to understand what you said exactly. Did you mean that you never open it since you bought it until "today"?

RE : my phone does not see the wifi signal
Again I want to be sure I understand correctly.
Do you know that you need to download and install an "app" in order to connect the drone's camera with the phone?
You should find from the user manual a barcode to download that particular app.

Please clarify the above 2 points first before I know how to continue.

I have installed the app and read and reread the manual that came with it. I have also done the same with the online manual on the website. It is true that I did not even look in the package until yesterday. Didn't have the time to try it out previously. Just wanted to play around with it in the house before taking it outside, as I have read reviews where people state that it just flies away from them. I have switched the batteries in the drone and controller several times thinking that it was a power issue but to no avail. I'm thinking it is probably a hardware issue at this point. Any pointers or tips would be appreciated.

Assuming you know how to use the app to connect the drone's camera with the phone.
What is the name of the app you installed?
Regardless of what the ad says about this drone ( some even said it was a military drone made available to general public. What a joke!) your Black Falcon is a copy of Eachine E58 except that it charges more.
I may suggest that go to Google Play store and install Eachine FPV app. See if it will connect with the drone's camera.
Good luck.

Thanks for your help. I did not think that it was a great drone at all. It is far cheaper than the ones I'm interested in. Just got it to play around with before spending 1000+ bucks to crash or lose.
Enjoy your day!!

One possibility is that the drone is light as it is and does not have the power to maintain flight path. Strong wind will grab it and drone will lose control.

Just for my curiosity......
Does the E58 drone screenshot below somewhat resemble your Black Falcon?

This was what I paid for my E58 in Canadian $. Yes, I'm a Canadian.

Hope you didn't pay too much more for your Black Falcon.

I apologize that I am unable to solve your problem.
